We live in Scottsdale, Arizona. Lourdes and I have been married for 45 years. We met at Ampex Corporation in Redwood City California where we both were employed. I was an Engineer and Lourdes ran the Copy reproduction department. Lourdes retired early, and I worked on for 20+ years. When I retired we moved to Scottsdale Arizona to enjoy a warmer dryer climate.

Since Arizona has so many scenic areas to visit and see, we both became interested in photography and cameras, and started photographing around Sedona, Arizona. We were fascinated by the scenery and red colors of the mountains and rocks. We started putting together some panorama photos of the Sonoran Desert and other areas of interest, and became hooked on doing panoramas.

We like and use Canon equipment, and own several Canon cameras and lenses. We started G&L Photography to share our photos and experiences using our Canon cameras. We have recently expanded our website to include Canon news, cameras, lenses, and photography books for sale.

I do most of the website management and day to day chores of running the business. I traded, bought and sold on Ebay for awhile, but since they keep raising their fees, I decided Ebay is no longer feasible, and I could do better with our own Web-Store. Ebay was a valuable experience in that I was able to build a 100-percent feedback record in buying, selling, and shipping, and established a reputation for honest dealing.
